About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to support the delivery of network infrastructure and structured cabling projects at a dedicated site. This role serves as a key on-site leader, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedule, quality, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong field leadership experience, deep technical knowledge of cabling and infrastructure builds, and the ability to manage multiple crews in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Report directly to the on-site Project Manager

  • Execute work in alignment with project schedules, directives, and priorities

  • Capture weekly updates from team leads and report progress to Project Manager

  • Attend regular project coordination meetings

  • Oversee milestone completion and productivity adherence

  • Monitor and enforce site safety conditions and requirements

  • Coordinate work with field engineers and other trade contractors

  • Manage and control labor across assigned projects

  • Review completed work with QA/QC personnel prior to client walk-throughs

  • Ensure work quality meets customer standards and specifications

  • Assess team lead strengths and recommend applicable training

  • Ensure crews follow all customer rules, guidelines, and processes

  • Validate project data and track quality, efficiency, and delivery metrics

  • Verify materials required to complete assigned build scopes

  • Support design reviews, build reviews, and customer meetings as needed

  • Support both new deployments and live/production site requests

  • Assist teams with adoption of new technologies, tools, and manufacturers

  • Ensure all safety certifications and standards are met during and after installation

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience in structured cabling, rack infrastructure, and large-scale build projects

  • Proven ability to lead multiple crews simultaneously

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to forecast manpower and labor requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

  • Strong documentation skills including lessons learned and project paperwork

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and port maps

  • Experience managing mid-size to large infrastructure projects

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment

  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure components

  • Hands-on experience with copper and fiber installs, terminations, testing, certification, and troubleshooting

  • Cabling and fiber certifications (CFTT, CFI, or equivalent such as BICSI or FOA preferred)

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Knowledge of regional installation standards and codes

  • Clear understanding of jobsite safety requirements and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to develop team members and recognize growth opportunities

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to pull cable, climb ladders, and work on raised platforms

  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems

  • Effective verbal, written, visual, and listening communication skills
