We are looking for a motivated Accounting Title Clerk with Accounting Experience to join our growing company. Accounting Title Clerk Duties and Responsibilities may include a number of the following: 

• Process paperwork received from the F&I Department.
• Prepare documents such as tax and title documents to transfer ownership of property for out-of-state deals.
• Submit paperwork to the appropriate government office, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles or the County Clerk’s Office.
• Check documents to ensure that all information is accurate and double-check important data such as names and addresses.
• Perform basic accounting responsibilities (cutting checks to customers, posting tag/title invoices, balancing schedules, reconcile customer accounts etc...). 
• Process courtesy deliveries, dealer trades, and wholesales.
• Assist office manager with EOM duties.
• Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks assigned by Office Manager, GM, or GSM.
• Proactively communicate with your supervisor.
• Communicate errors or unusual items.
• Propose solutions and improvements to processes.
• Answer incoming calls for the accounting office.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Accounting Clerk Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Franchised dealership accounting title clerk experience 3+ years required.
• Out-of-state title processing experience required.
• Prior experience reconciling accounts.
• Strong knowledge of math and accounting.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• CDK experienced a plus.
• ITS Nationwide experience a plus.
• Great Customer Service.
• Ability to lift 5-10 lbs. unassisted.
